Founded in 2000, Spartan Contracting Services, Inc. is the merger of several key individuals with a diversity of experience. The company emerged with an array of skills developing into specialized divisions servicing private consumers as well as governmental construction demands. From Project Design, specification preparation and issuance, Project Management to General Contracting this unique blend of people brings highly qualified experience as well as creative insight and ideas. The company’s growth has been molded by customer demand and input allowing us to shape and mold the company to meet specific market needs.

Mark A. Doan

President

Mark Doan has worked in the construction industry his entire life. Relocating from Canada he began his career in South Florida with the Canadian Development Company, Daon. After completion of a prestigious two hundred million dollar condominium project and seeing an opportunity in the high rise structural renovation market Mark formed a structural concrete restoration company, of which was sold and still operates today? Interested in government contracting Mark joined Sea Land Contractors in 1985 as a project manager overseeing the construction of multimillion dollar government facilities. After receiving his Florida State General Contracting License as well as State Commercial Pool & Spa License he went on to construct many specialized sports & Olympic certified facilities, as well as numerous other government projects. In 2000 Mark formed Spartan Contracting Services providing an array of construction services from design and build to consulting services. Spartan Contracting has made its mark throughout the southeastern United States with many notable award winning government projects ranging from urban development projects to detention facilities for the federal government. Mark remains the Qualifier of Sea Land Contractors, and President of Spartan Contracting.  Mark presides over the various specialized divisions of SCS, ensuring that the same philosophy of management, quality work, and customer care permeates throughout.
